Terms of Service

Effective September 20, 2026

Privacy PolicyTerms of ServiceNotice to parentsContact us

These Terms govern the ArgoLearn website at argolearn.com and its learning services, operated by Argo Brothers Inc. ("ArgoLearn," "we," or "us"). The service is currently intended for users in the United States. These Terms apply to the adult creating or managing an account and, where that adult is authorized to act for a school, that school.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement to create an adult account. Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Children use managed learner accounts created by their parent, legal guardian, or an authorized school representative. Children cannot create adult accounts. Do not create or manage a learner account unless you have the authority to do so. A teacher account does not itself establish school approval or verify your school affiliation.

2. Permission to use the learning materials

We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use ArgoLearn for your own learning, your family's learning, or your authorized classroom. You may download and print materials where that feature is provided, for those purposes.

ArgoLearn and its licensors retain their rights in the lessons, videos, books, worksheets, artwork, software, and branding. Do not resell materials, publish them for public download, redistribute account access, remove ownership notices, or copy the service to create a competing product, except where the law expressly permits it.

3. Learner work and privacy

Users retain ownership of their original answers, writing, drawings, and other submitted work. You authorize us to store, reproduce, process, and display that work only as needed to provide the service, including saving progress, checking answers, and showing work and feedback to the account's authorized parent or teacher. This permission ends when the relevant work is deleted, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle adult and learner information. Agreeing to these Terms does not replace the separate notice, verifiable parental consent, or school authorization required for children's information.

For school-managed accounts, student information may be used only to provide the authorized educational service and related support and security. Schools must approve use of the service and provide instructions and authorization consistent with their obligations. We remain responsible for our own privacy obligations. A signed school agreement controls over these Terms if they conflict concerning student information.

4. Acceptable use

Do not access another person's account or information without permission, impersonate someone, bypass access or security controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or use the service unlawfully. Do not submit material that violates someone else's rights. Avoid putting addresses, contact details, or other unnecessary personal information in learner work.

5. Free accounts, subscriptions, and learning rewards

Creating an account and using the Starter Journey is free, with no payment card required. Paid memberships unlock additional published learning materials for the number of children shown at checkout. A free account does not authorize a later charge.

Subscriptions are billed in U.S. dollars monthly or annually, as selected at checkout, and renew automatically until canceled. The price, billing interval, and any applicable tax are shown before payment. Manage billing, update your payment method, or cancel renewal from Membership in your parent account. Canceling renewal keeps access through the current paid period. If payment fails or the paid period ends, the account returns to Starter access; saved work and progress remain available subject to our retention policy.

For your first paid membership purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days by emailing info@argolearn.com from your account email. The guarantee applies once per household. After that period, payments are not prorated or refunded except where required by law. Close your subscription before deleting your account; contact us if you need help closing billing immediately.

Argo Coins, badges, companion items, and other learning rewards are features within ArgoLearn. They are not money, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the service. Their availability and use may change as the learning features change.

6. Learning results and availability

ArgoLearn is a supplemental learning tool. We do not promise particular grades, test scores, or educational outcomes. Adults remain responsible for instructional decisions and appropriate supervision.

We may update content and features or interrupt access for maintenance and security. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every instructional need. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct.

7. Closing or suspending an account

You may stop using ArgoLearn at any time. Adults can remove managed learners or delete their own account using the available account controls. Contact us if you need help or a copy of your information before deletion. Account deletion may also remove the managed learners and saved work shown in the deletion confirmation. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.

We may restrict or close an account for a material violation of these Terms, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or the service. If we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice and a way to request your information where practicable.

8. Changes to these Terms

We will post updated Terms with an effective date and notify adult account holders of material changes before they take effect, unless a faster change is needed for legal or security reasons. Where renewed agreement is required, we will request it. Changes to these Terms do not authorize new uses of children's information without any separately required notice and consent.
