Before your child starts

How ArgoLearn uses learner information, and the choices you have.

Why we ask

COPPA, the federal children’s privacy law, requires us to get a parent’s permission before collecting personal information from children under 13. Without your permission, we won’t collect or use your child’s information for learning, and their learner access stays off.

Information we use

Name or nickname, username, grade and subject levels, login details and preferences; answers, writing, drawings, lesson and video progress, scores, and game and reward progress; IP address, browser information, session identifiers, and security records.

How we use it

To provide lessons, save work, give feedback, show you progress, and support and secure accounts. Hosting and database providers process account and learning data; video providers process technical data to play lessons. We do not sell children’s information, use it for advertising, or let children post or chat publicly.

Your choices

You may decline or withdraw permission, review or delete your child’s information in your account, or contact us for help, corrections or a copy. Withdrawal stops further learning activity. You can agree to learning without agreeing to sharing that isn’t needed for the service; any such sharing would require a separate choice.

About this request

Open your private email link, review this notice and confirm you’re the parent or legal guardian. Unconfirmed requests expire and are deleted after seven days. Your adult account stays available.
